A message to my MUM on Mother's Day

I know right from the hour I was conceived till eternity, it is and will always be LOVE. I have no memories of my infancy but I believe aside the laboring, I gave you no other trouble… sorry if any!
I remember as a child, I will always seek safety in between your thighs whenever there was trouble. I started wondering a couple of years back when I was in SHS, why you are the first to be approached whenever I had a problem...? I have found no concrete answer to this single question.
I remember moments around my teenage when we picked up on each other over heated arguments which sometimes led me tears and left me with the feeling of leaving in recluse. Today, I see every single act of restriction or discipline which I once thought was rude to be very necessary and even should have been instilled with much pressure, the scars all over my legs attest this claim. I was always troubled and wondered why you told me not to climb trees, scale walls or play in the scrap trucks in the neighborhood, I do not need to told the answers now because they written clearly on my legs.
My interaction with other social groups and individuals has shown me, no one can as caring and affectionate like you, moments I had to stay alone somewhere pursuing a career have always got me appreciating your essence.
With these few out of the million accounts, I have every reason to LOVE and ADORE you or even worship you.
What a wonderful relationship we have, no proposal, no dressing to impress, no going out for dinners, no buying of gifts, no CHEATING………… OMG! I thank God for ever making you mine forever, you will always be my MUM, my SISTER, my FRIEND, my GIRLFRIEND and my surrogate GOD.
‘Nma We wo swe’m Swolem’. Mum, God bless you on this mother’s day and grant you all your heart desires, I LOVE you!
                                                                                                                             Pius.
